Food always tastes better when alcohol is incorporated. HopCat mastered a boozy BBQ Sauce to pair with your favorite meat and craft cider!
Ingredients:
1 Cup – Hard Cider
2 Ounces – Vegetable Oil
2 – Large Onions
1/2 Cup – Whole Garlic Clove
7 Cups – Ketchup
1/2 Cup – Molasses
1 Cup – Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 Cup – Worcestershire Sauce
1 Cup – Yellow Mustard
4 Tablespoon – Salt
2 Teaspoon – White Pepper
Instructions:
1. Saute onion and garlic in oil.
2. Add salt and white pepper.
3. Deglaze with hard cider.
4. Add molasses, vinegar, mustard and Worcestershire.
5. Simmer for 5 minutes.
6. Add ketchup.
7. Simmer on low while stirring for 15 minutes.
8. Strain everything off.
9. Serve with meat for your choosing.
